Are you letting life happen to you or through you?
Are you waiting to arrive at the destination? Everyone says it will happen once you hit a certain number of followers on social media.
Friends, there’s no need to wait. There’s no magical number. There’s strategy.
Hi! I’m Traci. So excited you’re here!
In 2017, I repurposed the strengths and skills I had acquired through 18 years of teaching and 9 years of running a photography business. My social media presence was small at the time (and still is by most standards). BUT I made one smart decision that changed everything. Instead of waiting to monetize my online presence, I partnered strategically with a brand and product I love.
You can still check out my photography work. I kept my photography blog. I just can’t get rid of all those years of work!
Through my partnership, I was able to replace my teaching salary in less than a year. A salary, I had worked 3, 240+ days and a Masters Degree to earn.
Teaching had sucked me dry physically, emotionally and mentally. I was overworked, underpaid, and just a cog in the wheel looking up at a glass ceiling.
But I wasn’t going to leave teaching for just anything. It had to be something that I was equally (if not more) passionate about.
With my strategic partnership, I was able to work as much or as little as I wanted. It fit in to the nooks and crannies of teaching and motherhood without having the negative impact on my husband, son, family & friends. The idea of a freedom based income started becoming reality. Where it wasn’t only time for money. Passive income.
I “retired” early from teaching in 2018. I now work when I want, where I want. I am more present at home than I have ever been. And the stress. I didn’t realize the load I was carrying until it lifted.
What is God calling you to repurpose? To use in a new way?
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
What I do may or may not be a part of your repurposing. That’s definitely not for me to decide or to convince. I do know that if you’ve gotten this far, you’re here for a reason. And I’d love to connect with you!
